Russell W. Cormack

November 29, 1955 ~ July 12, 2016

Russell W. Cormack, 60 of Garber, Ok passed from this life on July 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cormack and mother, Idalee Ackley/Scott and a daughter, Leslie.

Russ lived on a farm near Danville Ks until the age of 10 when he moved with his family to Jet, Ok.

At the age of 20, he entered the U.S Marine Corps for 5 years where he became a proficient marksman.

He then attended Tulsa Welding School and worked at Chesterfield Cylinder & Advance Meat as a maintenance repairman.

He is survived by his wife, April of the home, 2 daughters, Kendra Laposi of Chula Vista, CA and Emily Wycoff of Enid, 3 sisters, Barbara Stevens of Enid, Kathy Thomas of Wakita, and Joyce Cox of McAlester Ok. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Garber Ok at 4:30 P.M on Tuesday, July 19th. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Enid or American Cancer Society. No flowers please.
