Roy William Copeland, son of John Newton and Dovie Mae (Dildine) Copeland, was born on December 6, 1926 in Baron, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 29, 2022 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at 95 years of age.
Roy was a hard worker. He enjoyed gardening. As long as he was able, he would plant a garden every year. Roy wanted everyone to enjoy what he had grown in his garden. He would say, "If you want it, come get it!" He loved his dogs. His dogs loved him and cucumbers.
He was loved by his family and will be missed.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents: John and Dovie Copeland, sisters: Maybell Samuelson, Violet Jones, Marie Copeland and Carolyn Copeland, brothers: Joe, Darrell, John Newton, Jerry and Homer Copeland.
He is survived by his brother: Gilbert Copeland and wife Betty of Lincoln, AR, sister-in-law: Shirley Copeland of Bristow, OK, several nieces, nephews and honorary grandson: Brent Coggins of Lincoln, AR
Funeral Service was held 1:00 PM, Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Roberts & Hart Chapel in Westville, OK.
