Rebecca Ann (Burcham) Copeland

October 14, 1936 ~ May 3, 2007

Funeral service for Rebecca Ann Copeland, 70, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Rebecca Ann Copeland was born October 14, 1936 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Homer Arlis and Elbie Vey [Hicks] Burcham and died May 3, 2007 in Chickasha.

Rebecca came to Chickasha in 1959. She worked for Chickasha Public Schools and later worked for and retired from Arvin Meritor after 20 years.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: Jerry Dale Copeland January 24, 2003; Parents; 1 brother: Rob Burcham; 3 sisters: Bertie Copeland, Margaret Walden, and Beulah Renfro.

Survivors include: 1 daughter and son-in-law: Romelda and Steve Barboza of Chickasha; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Gilbert and DeAnna Copeland of Chickasha and James and Patsy Copeland of Lexington; 4 sisters: Margie Troutman of Mustang, Effie Wallace of Sallisaw, Leota Stark of El Reno, Liz Cougar of Oklahoma City; 2 brothers: John Burcham of Oklahoma City and Jim Burcham of Newcastle; 3 grandchildren: Roxanna Myers, Jenny Stull, and Kimberly Copeland; 4 great grandchildren.
