Mickey Dean Copeland

Mickey Dean Copeland
November 18, 1956 ~ August 24, 2015

Mickey Dean Copeland died on August 24, 2015 in Fairview, Oklahoma at the age of 58 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Mickey was born to Calvin Luke Copeland and Rita Faye (Parks) Ervin on November 18, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After a short stint in the United States Army, Mickey enjoyed many years working in the construction industry. Mickey also enjoyed working for the Fairview Fellowship Home, where he worked in the kitchen for nine of the past ten years. Mickey's joy for music was infectious and he loved singing and playing guitar. He also enjoyed making beef jerky and it was his absolute pleasure to give to his family and friends. Mickey always had a smile and a kind word and his wit and sense of humor was one of a kind. He cherished his family, especially time spent with his two young grandsons. He will truly be missed.

Mickey is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Karen Copeland of Whitefish, Montana; his daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Brian McCoy of DuPont, Washington; his son Matthew Copeland; his siblings Connie Copeland-Henderson, Stanley Copeland, Marlena Copeland Stevens, Steven Copeland, Mark Copeland, Lea Mack Roberts, Bobbi Mack, and Robert Mack; his grandsons, Nathaniel Copeland, Devin Copeland and Kai Schuhriemen; and his granddaughter Shayla Schuhriemen; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mickey will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Fairview Fellowship Home and Faith Hospice of Woodward.
