Darrell Gene Copeland

February 19, 1938 ~ October 28, 2008

Darrell Gene Copeland, the son of John Copeland and Dovie (Dildine) Copeland, was born February 19, 1938, in Baron, Oklahoma. He passed from this life , in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 70 years, eight months and nine days.

Darrell loved gardening and grew a bounty of vegetables that he shared with everyone. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Maybell, Marie amp; Carolyn and one brother, Joe. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Roy Copeland, Gib and Betty Copeland, of Lincoln, Ar, Homer and Joetta Copeland, of Fayetteville, AR, Jerry and Shirley Copeland, of Bristow, OK, John Copeland, of Westville, OK and Violet Jones, of Lincoln, AR.

Services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Lester Shadrick officiating. Interment followed at Ganderville Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
