Jerry Warren "Jake" Coots
January 3, 1986 ~ October 30, 2021 (age 35)

Jerry Warren Coots "Jake", "Cooter", was born on January 3, 1986 to Patty Coots and Eldean Huling in Shamrock, Texas. Jake passed away at his home in Burns Flat, Oklahoma on October 30, 2021 at the age of 35 years, 9 months and 22 days.

Jake started school in Erick, Oklahoma in 1991. He later moved to Cheyenne and finished high school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 2004. Jake then started Caddo Kiowa Technology Center where he went to school and was certified for welding and also obtained his class B drivers license.

Jake went to work driving trucks for Mcintyres where he obtained his CDLs, then he went to work for Hamm and Phillips. Jake later went on to work for Unit drilling in 2006 until 2012. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with all his friends and playing with his nieces and nephews.

Jake is preceded in death by his grandmother, Laverna Coots, his grandfathers, Jerry Coots and Darrell Huling.

Jake is survived by his parents, Eldean Huling and Patty Coots, grandmother, Esther Huling, and sisters, Jessica Beck, Berna Coots, and Dolly Coots, 11 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
