Jerry Warren Coots

September 1, 1929 ~ September 24, 2005

Jerry Warren Coots was born September 1, 1929 to Walter Warren Coots and Clara Ann Grulkey Coots in Foss, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

Jerry lived in the area most all his life.

He was a house mover until an injury forced him to retire in 1960.

He married Laverna A. Bryant on March 19, 1948 in Dumas, Texas. They have made Sweetwater, Oklahoma their home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

Survivors include his wife Laverna of the Sweetwater home; a daughter Jerrye Sullens and her husband James of Commerce, Georgia; a son Wendell Coots and his wife Carolyn of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; a son Ferrel "Pete" Coots and his wife Mary of Hollis, Oklahoma; a daughter, Patty Coots of Sayre, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; one nephew and numerous friends.
