Willodene (Ross) Cooper

January 9, 1928 ~ April 14, 2013

Willodene Ross Cooper, daughter of Wasker Rome Ross and Willie Lee (Rutherford) Ross, was born in Ballard, Oklahoma on January 9, 1928 and passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 5 days.

The Lord blessed Willodene with a long life and loving family. She was born and raised in this area. Willodene spent many years as a nurse. She married Jake Cooper in 1988 and they were blessed with 25 years of marriage. Willodene had many friends and will be deeply missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Wasker and Willie Ross, brothers: J.W., Jerry, Eugene, Darrell and Dale Ross, sister: Zella Shipley.

Those remaining to keep her memory, her husband: Jake Cooper of the home near Watts, OK, son: Don Hackney and wife Chris of Olathe, KS, sisters: Madeline Sylvester of Tahlequah, OK, JoAnn Luper and husband George of Claremore, OK, Carolyn Barlow and husband Jerry of Watts, OK, brother; Sheridan Ross of Watts, OK.

Funeral services at 2pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel.
