Regina Cooper

April 10, 1960 ~ November 3, 2008

Regina Cooper was born on April 10, 1960. She received her wings on November 3, 2008, at Texoma Medical Center.

She is flying with the angels! Regina loved life and lived it her way. If you wanted to see her smile, just let one of her four grandbabies walk in the door.

She worked at Southern Pointe Nursing Home in Colbert. She loved her job and really cared for the residents and her fellow employees.

Regina married her best friend and soul mate, Larry Cooper, on the 6 day of March, 2002.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Cooper of Cartwright, son, Dustin Wimpee and wife Dana of Durant; daughter, Meloni Jacobs Wimpee of Colbert; two step-daughters, Misty Cooper of Calera and Kristina Cooper; parents, Bucky and Glenda Cummins of Colbert; mother-in-law, Ann Cooper of Durant; two grandsons, Hunter Wimpee of Durant and Timothy Iker of Calera; two granddaughters, Areil Love of Colbert and Brittany Cooper of Calera; six brothers and sisters, Len Cummins and wife Donna of Talihina, Mark Cummins and wife Aundrea of Cartwright, Brian Cummins and wife Tonya of Platter, Stu Kemp and wife Linda of Denison, Texas, Raylene Robinson and husband Robert of Colbert and Michelle Nelson and husband Mike of Colbert; many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service and family gathering will be held in Regina's memory on Thursday, November 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Service in Durant. Online condolences may be left for the family at Brown's Funeral Home website at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
