Darlene Sue (Pack) Cooper
May 18, 1960 ~ September 12, 2021

Darlene Sue (Pack) Cooper was born on May 18, 1960 in Stilwell to Charles Richard Pack and Stella Marie (Davis) Pack and departed this life to enter her heavenly home on September 12, 2021 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 61 years, 3 months, and 25 days. Darlene grew up near the Stilwell, Ok area and attended school at Tenkiller, Peavine, and Stilwell. Although she did not complete high school, she completed her GED at age 48, an accomplishment she was extremely proud of. She continued her education by obtaining her director’s credential as well as working towards completing her Associate’s Degree in early childhood education.

Darlene worked as a CNA in different nursing homes when she was younger. She was a long time early childhood teacher previously working for Cherokee Nation Early Headstart and most recently at My Other Mother’s Daycare in Westville, OK. She loved each and every child she cared for and enjoyed working with children.

Darlene enjoyed cooking and took pride in preparing birthday dinners for her children as well as other family members. She enjoyed taking camping trips and spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed helping others and would offer shelter and food to those in need.

Darlene was married to Darrell Lee Porter in May of 1979, 4 children were born to this union, Teresa Porter, Sandra (Porter) Bolinger, Jimmy Porter, and Vivian Porter. Darlene was married to GC Cooper on August 4, 2012 and they raised one son, Gary Cooper.

Darlene was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Melvina (Hammons) Davis, paternal grandparents, John and Anna Mae (Norvel) Pack, parents, Stella Marie (Davis) Pack and Charles Richard Pack, brothers Delmer Perry and Danny Pack, sister Fannie (Elsie) Unger, nephew, Wayne Kirk, and mother-in-law, Lena Mae Cooper.

Darlene is survived by a loving family, which includes her husband, GC Cooper, daughter Vivian Porter, sons, Jimmy Porter and Gary Cooper, granddaughters, Nevaeh and Kharizma Wing all of the home in Stilwell, OK. also, daughters; Teresa Porter of Cushing, OK and Sandra Bolinger and husband David of Westville, OK: two step-sons; Grant Cooper and Keith Wofford and wife Jessica: two brothers, Ray Perry and Roy Davis of Stilwell, OK: two sisters, Lorene Davis of Tahlequah, OK and Paula Adams of Mountainburg, AR: one brother-in-law, RC Cooper and wife Edith: one sister-in-law, Irene Cooper-Vaughn and husband, Claudie. A special granddaughter whom she helped raised, Dejanira Hinton of Tahlequah, OK. Grandchildren, Christopher Moore and wife Chares, Travis Porter, Toby, Jacob, and Haley Bolinger, Gabrielle Smith, and a bonus granddaughter she loved like one of her own, Audianna Lopez, along with three great-grandsons; Slater Davis, Aiden Brown, and Hazen Bolinger as well as her first great-granddaughter due in December: A special life-long best friend, Lynn Jaimes: Her special boss, Patsy Winn: Her special dog, Lacey as well as nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Darlene was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
