Donna Cooper age 62, passed away in Edmond, Oklahoma on January 5, 2023. Donna Jean Croslin was born on May 8, 1960 to Cecil Croslin and Laverne Croslin in Tucumcari, New Mexico. The Croslin family finally settled in the Lexington area where Donna attended school and graduated with the Bulldog class of 1978.
While in school she was a standout basketball star who loved playing in front of a cheering Bulldog crowd every season. Donna was an avid OU Football fan and loved watching the games with family and friends. She also enjoyed getting wrapped up in the mystery of a true crime show with her daughter, Julie. Donna was a music lover, she often said it was her greatest passion and it got her through some difficult seasons of life. She still enjoyed the music she grew up on of the 60s and 70s and had Tom Petty posters hanging in her room. Donna was a proud mother and grandmother; her family was her pride and greatest source of joy. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Laverne Croslin, and her sister Doris Croslin.
She is survived by her daughter Julie Key, grandchildren Brooklynn and Brody, and her sister Deena Lee.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Littleās Chapel, Wilson-Little Purcell, OK.
