Allen Benson Coonce

Feb. 10, 1918 ~ Dec. 22, 2001

DALHART - Allen Benson Coonce, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Jimmye Cole, pastor of Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home.

Mr. Coonce was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Monroe, Okla., to James and Loula Langum Coonce.

Survivors include his wife, Tilda; three daughters, Juanita Gray and Gathel Bozeman, both of Dalhart, and Carol Vines of Nara Visa, N.M.; a son, C.A. Coonce of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Gladys Cameron of Gault, Calif.; a brother, Alvia Coonce of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
