Private family services are planned to celebrate and remember the life of Noah Jefferson Cooke. Noah passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was 67 years old.
Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on March 23, 1959, to Kenneth Malcom and Anita Sue (McBroom) Cooke. Noah was raised and educated in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Southeast High School in Wichita. On February 14, 1980, at Faith Temple in Wichita, Noah married the love of his life Brenda Chastain. Their marriage was gifted with three children, Sarah, Aaron, and Andrew. Noah provided for his family working for Beechcraft making aircraft parts. He then worked for Kawneer Corporation where he made windows for skyscrapers.
A man that had a natural curiosity and a devotion to God. He was also known for being quite a practical jokester. He had a wide variety of hobbies and interests. He loved his family with all his heart. Noah did arts and crafts and was specifically known for his jars that he would fill with small figurines to represent different events. He liked trains because they sparked his curiosity and was drawn to simple crosses because they represented his relationship with God. Then there is his jokester’s side. According to his family, Noah was known for his practical jokes. He liked telling “Chuck Norris” and “Dad” jokes.
When grandchildren came along, Noah excelled at being a grandpa, grampy and papa. Just as he had done with his children, Noah spent quality time with each one and developed a unique relationship with each one.
