Roger D. Cook

June 7, 1967 ~ April 11, 2006

The celebration of life for Roger D. Cook, 38 – year – old Enid resident, will be 2 PM Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born June 7, 1967, in Enid to Ken Cook and Bonnie Roberson Cook and died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

He attended local schools and graduated from OU with a BA in philosophy. He was a substitute teacher in the Waukomis school system. He loved to play the guitar and enjoyed singing.

He is survived by a son, Randy, and his daughter, Anna, and their mother, Tina Cook; his parents, Ken and Bonnie; his sisters, Kerry Cook, Penny Hower and Amy Pennock; his step father, Larry Pennock; grandfather, Dick Harvey; a niece, Cheyenne Cook and nephew, Connor, as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Kenneth Cook; an uncle, Bobby Joe Cook; and his grandmother, Ruby L. Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OU Foundation Inc.

Everyone that knew him loved him and he will be missed by all.
