Robert Dale Cook

July 17, 1943 ~ February 05, 2008

Robert Dale Cook, 64, of Guthrie went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 in mid afternoon. Robert went to school in Crescent until the eighth grade when he quit to help his father work on the farm. Robert worked in the oil fields around Crescent, and worked on a dairy farm in Edmond. He loved to spend his extra time working on lawn mowers and spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He liked to go deer hunting with his son Ricky and two grandsons Dillon and Taber even though he would never get out of the truck to actually hunt anything, he liked to go just to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert is survived by three children, Ricky Cook and wife Kristi of Orlando, Oklahoma, Teena Keith and husband Floyd of Perry, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Cook of Baytown, Texas. Seven grandchildren, John Keith and wife Micah, Kevin Keith and wife Annette, Joseph Keith all from Perry, Oklahoma, Dillon, Taber, and Kamber Cook of Orlando, Oklahoma, and Brittney Cook of Baytown, Texas. Six great grandchildren, Josie, Victoria, and Sarah Lopez, of Perry, Oklahoma, Gaven Keith of Perry, Oklahoma, Peyten and Lucas Keith of Perry, Oklahoma. Three sisters, Marie Roden, Goldie Jay and husband Eugene, Linda Humphrey and husband Rusty, and lots of nieces and nephews of Guthrie that will miss him greatly.

Robert went home to be with his parents Milton and Zola Cook, three brothers, Buster, Bobby, and James Cook, and two sisters, Betty Seagroves and Martina Cook.

Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.
