David Lee Cook
February 22, 1988 ~ May 26, 2016

David Lee Cook was born February 22, 1988 in Amarillo, Texas to Lisa Diane (Anderson) and Kenneth Lee Cook, Jr. He passed away May 26, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 28 years, 3 months and 4 days.

David grew up mainly in Corpus Christi, Texas. At the age of 15, he moved to Erick, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school. He went to work with his Uncle Wayne in the oilfield. He spent most of his career working in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. David was very good at his job and he would be the first to let you know that. His number one priority was his family and he loved them with his entire heart. He was funny and very caring. He was known for helping anyone who needed it.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

David is survived by his wife, Nikki, and their children, Vannessa, Maggie, Noah, and Jacob; his father, Kenneth Cook, Corpus Christi, Texas; a sister, Christin Anderson & husband, Aaron, Victoria, Texas; his grandmother, Rita Anderson of Amarillo, Texas; his nieces, Avery and Jayleigh; his uncle, Wayne Whipkey of Blair, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at Rose Chapel officiated by Bro. Charlie Floyd. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
