Bonnie Fae (Huff) Cook

Bonnie Fae (Huff) Cook
June 28, 1952 ~ August 27, 2021

Bonnie Fae Cook, 69, was called to her eternal resting place on Friday, August 27, 2021. She entered this world on June 28, 1952 in Shawnee, OK, born to Bohn Dewey Huff and Norma Faye Tacker Huff. She is survived by her brother Richard Huff and wife Cary Nell of Shawnee, OK, and dear friend/sister-by-heart Carol Davis of Sun City, Arizona.

After graduating from Shawnee High School she attended University of Central Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

Prior to coming to Ponca City, OK, Bonnie worked at Great Plains Technology Center in Woodward, OK, where she was the Small Business Training Coordinator. In 2002 she came to Ponca City where she served her community at Pioneer Technology Center as the Small Business Training Coordinator/Business Incubator Manager, retiring in 2017. The success of her entrepreneurs was #1. She was so very proud of her contribution to the many she was able to assist in following their dream.

Bonnie completed Northern Oklahoma Hospice training in 2005. Her outreach with her beloved therapy dog, Duke, from 2012-2014, touched so many lives that only a loved pet and his owner can do.

She served on the Ponca City Planning Commission, Rotary Club, Kennel Club Dog Training and the Chamber of Commerce.

Contributions may be made to Northern Oklahoma Humane Society or Survivor Resource Network.

Cremation arrangements are in care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.
