Services for Maxine Conway, 84, of Silo, who passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Dalton-Holmes Chapel. Larry Conway, Jr. will officiate.
Maxine was born Friday, February 15, 1924, in Wilson to J. C. and Kara Bell Gamble Stevens.
She married James Conway on January 24, 1948, in Henrietta, Texas.
Maxine was born and raised in Oklahoma.
She worked as a volunteer at the hospital and for the fire department.
Maxine enjoyed antiques, interior designs and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
She is survived by her husband of the home, one son and his spouse, one daughter and her spouse, four grandchildren and their spouses, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
