She married her 'perfect' husband, Johnny on June 3, 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 50 years and her grandson 'Tommy Toe'.

She is survived by her brother-in-law Donald Conti of Albuquerque, NM, daughter Clare Conti of the home, daughter Carol Rutledge and husband Wesley of Choctaw, grandchildren: Traci Brown, Michael and Sarah Brown, Matthew and Lori Rutledge, and Lindsey and Nathan Henson, great grandchildren: Taylor Koone, Nathan Brown, Kaylee Brown, Raedyn White, and Charlotte Henson.

She was born and raised in St, John's NFLD, Canada, where she met and married Johnny in 1952. Madgie owned 'Der Ruhe Salon of Beauty' in Del City in the early 70's and then her and her husband owned Conti Plumbing, Heat & Air for several years. Madgie retired to enjoy her grandchildren and take care of her husband before he passed away. She was a long time member of the 'Ramblin Rose Red Hats'. Madgie and Johnny loved ballroom dancing, going to the deer woods, and cooking Italian food. Madgie loved going shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to express many thanks to her Geriatrician, Dr. Robert Salinas, of the OU Medical Center and the staff of the EOC Tech Adult Day Center in Choctaw.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations made in Madgie's name to the Alzheimer's Association 3555 NW 58th St., Suite 220, Oklahoma City, OK 73118. Memorial services will be held at the Barnes Friederich FH Chapel Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
