Nita J Conrad

Dec. 20, 1928 ~ July 9, 2002

Nita J Conrad, 73, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 9, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Coffman of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mrs. Conrad was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Mangum, Okla. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo. She was a volunteer grandparent for many years.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Conrad, in 2002.

Survivors include a son, Charles L. Oates and wife, Sue, of Norman, Okla; and a granddaughter, Carri Oates of Norman.

The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association.
