Jimmy Alen Comer was born May 17, 1963 to Carolyn and Johnny Comer in Elk City, Oklahoma. He passed away in Lexington, Kentucky on September 20, 2018 at the age of 55.

Jimmy grew up in Elk City where he later graduated from high school. He went on to the University of Oklahoma where he received his master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. He moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he worked for several years and later moved back to Elk City. Jimmy was the oldest of 4 brothers. He was strong minded and loved his brothers, nieces and nephews dearly. He always wanted them to do what he thought was best, regardless of what they thought was best. One of his nieces said that he was the best daddy she ever had.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Johnny.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Thompson, Elk City, OK, 3 younger brothers, Russ and Jeff, of Elk City, OK and Mark of Atlanta, GA, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
