Teddy Ray Colson, of Elmore City, passed away June 22, 2020 at his home near Elmore City at the age of 70 years.
Teddy was born February 8, 1950 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Sophia Audean (Grimes) Colson and John Brice Colson, Sr.
Ted was raised in the Pauls Valley and Garvin County area, but lived most of his life in the Stigler area. He worked as a Heavey Equipment Mechanic for Caterpillar for many years. He lived in Saudi Arabia while on the job with Caterpillar for many years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Audean Colson; his wife, Karen; and brother, J. B. Colson, Jr.
His surviving family include his spouse, Reneah Colson, of the home; four children, Dallas Ray Colson of Stratford; Carrie Jo Palmer of Porum; Jeremiah Don Colson of Stigler; and Adam Colson of Pauls Valley; as well as 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and with 3 on the way.
Memorial services are pending at this time. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
