Cecil "Bert" Collyge

January 31, 1941 ~ April 7, 2007

Cecil "Bert" Collyge the son of Cecil and Ruth (Pendergraft) Collyge, was born in Westville, Oklahoma on January 31, 1941. He passed from this life on April 7, 2007 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 66 years, two months and six days.

On March 31, 1962, Bert was married to Elizabeth Masterson in Stilwell, Oklahoma. To this union two sons were born, Jeff and Sean. Bert obtained a bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas. He served his country proudly in the U S Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Bert was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Westville and worked as a Live Production Manager for Hudson Foods.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Frankie Lee Collyge and Betty Hamme and one brother, Cecil Rose.

He leaves behind a loving family which includes his wife, Elizabeth Collyge, of Westville; two sons and their wives, Jeff and Lisa Collyge, of Westville, Dean and Sarah Collyge, of Springdale, AR; six grandchildren, six siblings; Billy Joyce Gibson and Raydean Norris, of Westville, Donald Collyge of Dallas, TX, Vernon Collyge, of Fort Smith, AR, Cecilia Collyge, of Laquita, CA and Regina Collyge, of Nashville, TN.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Westville with Rev. Joel Bentow, Bro. Bill Allison and Bro. Tim Broughton officiating. Arrangements were made by Hart Funeral Home in Westville, OK.
