Ronnie Joseph Collins
July 17, 1959 - April 30, 2021

Ronnie Joseph Collins of McLoud, Oklahoma walked on peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father on April 30, 2021. He was surrounded by his loving family who were grateful to have been by his side. Ronnie was born on July 17, 1959 in Pineville, Louisiana. He graduated from Shady Grove High School in Rosedale, Louisiana.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, James Aurther and Angie Lee Collins, his brothers George and Dale, brother-in-law Kenneth Webre, sister-in-law Robin Collins, and brother-in-law Gary Walter Ladon Jr.

Ronnie was the ultimate outdoors-man; he spent all his free time outside and loved hunting and fishing. He deeply cared for all animals. He spent his early working years in the oil fields in Louisiana later moving to Oklahoma where he was employed by Chromalloy where he met his life partner, Kathy, of 24 years.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Diane (Ladon) Collins and grandson Joey Adam D’zurella both of the home, son Jonathan Collins of Louisiana, sister Marjorie Nell Daigre and husband Donald, brother Jesse “Jay” Collins, sister Amelia Webre, brother James Collins, Jr and wife Melinda, sister Evelyn Elaine McCormick “Tip” and husband Mike, sister in law Linda Moyer and husband Jim of Kansas, brother in law Ronnie Ladon and wife Nina of Illinois, sister in law Rita Ecker and husband Mike of Texas, brother In law Leslie James Hendershot and wife Vonda of Midwest City, and brother in law Larry Hendershot of Midwest City. He is also survived by his stepchildren; Dana D’zurella, Cathryn Robin Gomez Palmer, Marcus Mateo, grandsons Jaira D’zuerlla and Uriah Adams D’zurella, and many loving friends and relatives.

A Memorial service will be held on May 8, 2021 1:00 pm at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home 1820 South Douglas Midwest City, Oklahoma 73130.
