Melvin Russell Collins
May 23, 1942 ~ March 29, 2020

Collins, Melvin Russell, 77, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away March 29, 2020, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Melvin was born May 23, 1942, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Milford and Cordelia Collins. He graduated from Wynona High School in 1959.

Melvin’s entire career was in the pipeline industry. He retired from Otis Eastern Pipeline Company in 2009.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Stacy (Michael) Bloom of Denton, TX and Lori Ayres of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren Ashton Ayres, Castle Rock, CO; Rachel Bloom, San Angelo, TX; and Anna Bloom, Denton, TX; and brother Mike (Becky), Hominy, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy and Raymond, and sister Judy; and his grandson, Dillon Ayres.
