Marilyn "Jo" (Linville) Collins
September 29, 1936 ~ August 23, 2019

Marilyn “Jo” Collins was born on September 29, 1936 in Crescent, OK to John B. and Lois (Ratcliff) Linville. Jo passed from this life on August 23, 2019 at the Kingston Family Care Center at the age of 82.

Jo graduated from Guthrie High School and worked for Muskogee Federal Credit Union until her retirement. Jo married Ira Collins in 2002 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Jo moved to Kingston in 2014. Jo dearly loved her family and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by her sons, Brad Barnett and Mike Barnett; husband, Ira Collins; sister, Glo Fultz and sister in law, Sue Linville.

Jo is survived by her son, Gary Barnett and wife Connie; grandchildren, Brandon Barnett and wife Kristin, Brent Barnett and wife Rochelle, Marilyn Collins, Zak Barnett and Josh Barnett; brother, JB Linville and many great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kingston Family Care Center and Aspire Hospice for the love care shown to Jo and her family.

A private family memorial service will be held. Condolences may be sent to the family at

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
