Bryan Douglas Collins, age 39, died on Friday, March 27, 2020, in Luther, OK. He left this broken world a victim of gun violence and met our Lord and Savior in perfect PEACE. Bryan was born November 10, 1980 in Tulsa, OK to Richard Collins and Debbie Payne James. He married Kristin Hoffman on May 19, 2001, in Oklahoma City, OK. Bryan was an extremely talented general contractor, carpenter, welder, plumber, electrician and mechanic. He raced flat track motorcycles growing up, and motorcycles were a lifelong passion of his. He loved being on the racetrack with his boys. Bryan enjoyed many trips to Little Sahara and the Kiamichi mountains with friends to ride motorcycles, 3-wheelers, and Jeeps. He enjoyed fishing at Grand Lake with his brother and the kids. Bryan always had a project and completed many projects for friends and loved ones over the years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Collins and Glenn and Mary Lou Payne; father-in-law, Dudley Goolsby Jr; and his mentor, Noel David Harter II.
Survivors include his wife, Kristin Collins; sons, Wesley, Casey, and Brayden Collins and Skyler Hoffman; mother, Debbie Payne James; father, Rick (Karla) Collins; stepdad, Cary Cope and Pam Neibauer; in-laws, Nadine Goolsby and Bill Hoffman; grandparents, Duane and Peggy Collins and Barry and Kay Cope; brother, Richie (Heather) Collins; sister, Kara Cope; sister Crystal (Brad) Cook; nieces and nephews, Riley, Bryn, and Cooper Collins and Caylee, Brad Jr, and Alex Cook; uncle, Reg Payne and children; uncle, Doug (Tammy) Collins and children; mentor, Stan Morman as well as many, many friends. He will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be Monday, April 6 from 11am to 2pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. The family understands that because of the Covid situation, many will not be able to attend. Graveside and celebration of life services are planned for a later date.
