John and Mary (White) Collin in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Paul was raised in Shawnee and graduated with the class of 1961 from Shawnee High School.
He married Sharon Kissell on August 17, 1979 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Paul worked for Shawnee Public Schools until going to work for Tecumseh Public Schools in 1989. He worked for Titan Security and worked security at OU Football games.
He loved to work, cook, share recipes and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, building chicken pens, having weekend fire pits and roasting marshmallows with the family. He enjoyed working at the IFYR each summer. Meeting new people and sharing stories were things he thrived on. He had a love for OU and worked security and other jobs for OU athletics for 23 plus years. He was at every home and most away games and was a part of many bowl games. Many people at OU were like family to him. He has worked at Tecumseh schools since 1989 where he was in his element. He’s had many adventures during his time at the school from preparing the athletic fields for game days, participating in alumni banquets and maintenance for the school buildings. He acquired the name “Do It All Paul”. He most recently spent his time in the halls of Tecumseh Middle school where the teachers and staff were like family. His highlight was working around the kids. He truly enjoyed helping the kids in need and many of them were known as “Paul’s Pals”.
