Matthew Scott Coleman "Coleman", 38, of Perry, OK passed away on March 18, 2022. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, OK.
Arrangements are being handled by Strode Funeral Home and Cremation.

On August 2, 1983 Coleman was born to Michael and Cathy (Clemens) Coleman in Enid, OK. He attended schools in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 2002. For over a decade, he worked as a welder at Ditch Witch in Perry, OK. On May 6, 2017 he and Janisue Jones were married in Perkins, OK.
Coleman enjoyed riding motorcycles, talking about and working on vehicles, hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with his kids. He was a passionate member of the Sleepy Hollow Group in Stillwater and touched so many lives by helping anyone he could by telling his story. He was always happy to share his opinion on any subject and somehow was always able to convince you he was right. No matter where he went, he made friends with everybody. His big personality especially shined through with his regular social media posts about #concernedcitizen, #cookingwithcoleman, and #adventuresofturdanddale.
Coleman was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy, grandparents: Marvin & Iona Nelson, Bob & Jean Coleman, and brother-in-law Chad Williams.
He is survived by his children Kayla Livecy and Levi Coleman, dog Dale, and wife Janisue Coleman. His father and wife, Michael & Teresa Coleman; sisters Chelsea Williams and Emily & husband Miles Highley; and brother Adam & wife Megan Coleman. Nieces and nephews: Carson, Parker, & Olivia Highley; and Addison Coleman. His parents-in-law Tanna & Junior Loreg and David & Janet Jones. As well as the countless friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the memorial fund set up in his name at any BancFirst location. Checks can also be mailed to 808 S Main St Stillwater, OK 74074. Funds will be used to benefit the Sleepy Hollow Group.
