Oleta Gene (Lynch) Cole
March 22, 1955 ~ September 2, 2020 (age 65)

Oleta Gene "Jeannie" Cole passed from this life on September 2, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 65. She was born on March 22, 1955 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Charles and Helen (Williams) Lynch. Jeannie had been a resident of Antlers all her life.

Jeannie married Marty Cole in the summer of 1972 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was a fun loving woman who enjoyed riding around on country roads, drinking cold beer, dancing, watching sci-fi movies, and reading romance novels. More than anything, Jeannie absolutely loved her family. A visit from any one of them would be the highlight of her week.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Helen Lynch; brothers: Troy Lynch and Johnny Lynch; and sister: Patsy Cole.

Jeannie leaves behind her loving husband: Marty Cole of the home; children: Marty Gene Cole and wife Mary, Frankie Cole and wife Leah, Anthony Cole and wife Becca; former daughter-in-law: Shannon Cole; sister: Carol Lynch; brothers-in-law: Mark Cole, Tubby Cole, Carl Cole and wife Lannette, and Buddy Cole; sister-in-law: Margaret Ludlow and husband Roy; grandchildren: Adam Cole, Haden (Monkey Butt) Cole, Bobby Merritt, Cody Merritt, Aaron Merritt, Kayla Young, James Schutts, and Charmin Vanwinkle Cole; special nieces and nephews: Charles Bubba Cole and wife Angel, Barbara Snookum Cole and husband RJ, Dalton and Payton Calder, and TJ Hankins; as well as numerous beloved friends and family.

Services for Jeannie will take place Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11AM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma. A family night will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 6-8PM.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service.
