Cindy Adele Cohlmia, daughter of the late Sam and Margurite Lorice (Razook) Cohlmia, was born June 11, 1952, in Waynoka, Oklahoma and passed away November 8, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 28 days. She was cremated at her request under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC. Services will be held at a later date.
Cindy graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1970. She then obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She taught school in Woodward before accepting a position in the Enid School System.
She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church in Wichita.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Becky Cohlmia.
Cindy is survived by one sister, Debra Sisemore of Elk City; one nephew, Derek Sisemore and wife, Stacey, of Ardmore, and their children, Drake Sisemore of El Dorado, Kansas, and Shepherd Sisemore of Ardmore; one niece, Devin Seager of Oklahoma City and her daughter, Sadie Adele Seager of Oklahoma City; her brother-in-law, Harbour Whitaker of Marlow, Oklahoma; two nephews, Parrish Whitaker and wife Melissa from Edmond, Oklahoma and Drew Whitaker and wife Taylor and children Margot And Tommy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for heart research.
