Kimberly Cogdell
March 3, 1966 ~ August 2, 2021

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Kimberly Cogdell, 55, of Enid, will be held at 1:00 P.M. August 21, 2021 in the Longfellow Middle School followed by a gathering.

Kimberly was born March 3, 1966, in Burley, Idaho and adopted to Fred Wayne and Suzanne Hindman Cogdell, in Richardson, Texas and passed from this life August 2, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Richardson, Texas graduating from Richardson High School in 1984. She had the spirit of a gypsy, traveling throughout the United States working as a landscaper in national parks. She achieved her bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Environmental Science from the University of Illinois in 2008. She worked as a Lab Tech at an ethanol plant in Illinois and in Texas and worked as a social worker. She was a jack of all trades. She met her soul mate Jill Waggoner in 2012 in Champaign, Illinois. In 2019 they moved to Enid to be near Kimberly’s daughter and grandchildren. She began working at Longfellow Middle school as a custodian, she loved all the children and helping the teachers. She enjoyed wearing bright colors, landscaping, gardening, and spending them with her friends and family.

She is survived by her partner, Jill Waggoner, of the home; daughter Corrinne Lindsay and husband Brian, of Enid; grandchildren, Jacob LeRoy Lindsay, Hunter Orion Lindsay, and Calvin Wayne Lindsay; mother, Suzanne Cogdell; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
