Raymond Lucian Coffman

Raymond Lucian Coffman
August 14, 1947 ~ February 21, 2025

Raymond passed away on February 21, 2025. Raymond Lucian Coffman was born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on August 14, 1947, to Ruby and DA Coffman. He was drafted at the age of 16 years old to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment with the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War.

Raymond was an amazing welder and loved to create. He also enjoyed the lake and loved the ocean when he’d go to visit his son in Oregon. He loved old cars, turkey shoots, flipping the bird, bon fires, camping, and mowing his yard.

Raymond had three children, Charlott McGowen (Barnsdall), Charlene Sheffield, and Doug Coffman (Oregon). He also had several stepchildren Willie, Sean, and Christopher Hailey, Penny Reid, Kathy Smith and Patty Jarrett.

He had 13 grandchildren Mathue Milner, Corina Gilstrap, Korey Tosh, Albanie Gaskill, Brayden Tosh, Dylan Swift, Dixie and Waylon Sheffield, Lily and Delaney Pennington, Hunter, Taryn, and Dakota Coffman. 12 Great-Grandkids, countless nieces and nephews, and lots of extended family.

Raymond is proceeded in death by his parents Ruby and DA, his grandparents OJ and Mary Meadows, his daughter Charlene Sheffield, his brothers Robert and Van Coffman and Ottie Shaw, his sister Alice Lawrence, his partner Wanda Morefield, wife Kay Coffman.

Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at the Community Center in Barnsdall, Ok.

In Lieu of flowers if you would like to donate to help with funeral expenses. Donations can be made to Stumpff Funeral home for Raymond Coffman funeral expenses.
