Margaret Ann "Midge" (Miles) Coffman

Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, in the Faith United Methodist Church, 7431 E. 91st St., Tulsa, officiated by the Rev. Sharla Gwartney.

Margaret Ann "Midge" Coffman was born July 6, 1937, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, to Frank D. Miles and Ruth L. (James) Miles.

She passed from this life on December 13, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Midge had lived in the Tulsa area for the past 15 years.

Previously, she was a longtime resident of Enid, from the late 1970's. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church and was also devoted to the Christ United Methodist Church in Enid.

Her family warmly remembers her as a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her responsibilities at home, she always found time to help and serve others where she was needed.

She was a coach, P.T.A. leader, Meals-on-Wheels deliverer, and served on the boards of the Hospice and Women's Shelters while in Enid.

She was especially devoted to her family and always looked forward to the family reunions. She was a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan as well as the Oklahoma Sooners.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Janet Freeman, Helen Benjamin, and Barb Kelver.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 59 years, Dr. Ralph B. Coffman, whom she married on June 20, 1959, in Osceola, Indiana; as well as by two sons; Frank Coffman and wife Joy, of Broken Arrow; and Dr. Joe Coffman and wife, Dr. Darci Coffman, of Tulsa; one sister, Carol Haney of Florida; one brother, Frank Don Miles of Indiana; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Anna, Samuel, and Tess Coffman; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and longtime friends.
