Diane (Lindsey) Coe

Diane (Lindsey) Coe
July 04, 1956 ~ December 09, 2020

Diane was an extraordinary mother, wife, and friend. She touched the lives of many people with her kindness and contagious laugh. She was born July 4, 1956 in Lynwood, CA. Diane was the daughter of Ezra Jolly Lindsey (father) and Billie Neva Reed (mom), and sister to Lynda Tucker, Bill Lindsey and Steve Lindsey. Her father, Jolly was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Ok and later moved to Los Angeles, CA. Diane was raised in Huntington Park, CA and in 1974 she graduated from Bell High School in Bell, CA, where her mother had also graduated.

Diane later married Peter Coe on May 29, 1986, and had a daughter, Brittany Coe. Diane loved and cherished her family and did everything she could to make them happy. She worked as a waitress for many years and made so much out of so little. She would always make every holiday special, especially with her talent for decorating. She was so giving always wanting to make people happy.

God had later guided her back to Oklahoma where she was blessed with many loving friends who touched her heart and were always there for her.

Diane was baptized on November 16, 2014 at the Restoration Church by Dwight Link and she shared her love for God with her Sunday School class and those she loved.

Her hobbies were playing paint by number, attending church, watching the sunsets and butterflies. Also working in her garden and reading. She would always volunteer to help whether it be for fundraisers, the senior citizen center, or events for the kids. She lived her life to the fullest, never stopping, and doing all she could to bring joy to others. Though she left us too soon, she shared her kindness and considered her co-workers and church as family. She was deeply loved by everyone and will always be remembered with the memories she left us.

Memorial service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/ShawandRedingerFuneralHomes
