Charles Alan "Skip" Codding
May 26th, 1939 ~ October 9th, 2020

Charles Alan “Skip” Codding, 81, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on October 9th, 2020. He was born in Oklahoma City on May 26th, 1939 to Charles I. Codding and Helen Seavey Codding. The oldest of 2 children, Skip was raised in Oklahoma City.

Skip attended Oklahoma State University where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1962 and met his future wife Elizabeth Ann Chapman. Skip and Liz were married on Aug 14th, 1962. They had two children, Allen and Susan.

Skip attended Oklahoma City University School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate in 1970. Skip was a founder of Dunlap Codding Intellectual Property Law in Oklahoma City where he practiced law for more than 30 years.

Skip is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Liz), sister, Carol Ann Rodden, son, Allen Codding and his wife Emily, daughter, Susan Codding, and grandchildren, Jon and Zac McWhirter and James and Juliet Codding.

A formal visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th from at 2:00 P.M. at Matthews Funeral Home.
