Bill Anthony Clostio

Bill Anthony Clostio
August 23, 1959 ~ January 2, 2025

A painted sunrise ushered an incredible man into Heaven the morning of January 2, 2025. Bill Anthony Clostio, a Deacon at Linden Street Christian Church in Sapulpa, will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Bill never met a stranger. His cheerful whistle announced his incoming presence even before his abundant confidence and charisma could be felt. He loved to win people over with his enthusiastic stories and witty sense of humor.

Bill had a wild spirit and an eye for forgotten treasures. He had a love of old cars, and an extensive collection of antiques accrued from his pastime of junk store shopping.

Bill’s full life began on August 23, 1959, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He later relocated to Sapulpa, Oklahoma where he fell in love with Connie, his wife of 45 years.

Bill worked in the oil field before expanding his resume to include many years working at the glass plant, Bartlett Collins, in Sapulpa. Lovingly re-named “Pa”, Bill later landed his dream job as a full-time spoiler of his favorite people. His twelve grandchildren had the best grandpa. He was always ready for an impromptu “sick” day, a special lunch, or any excuse to spend quality time with his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Brittany Simmons (Terry Len Browne), Samantha Clostio (Thomas Fonger), Adam (Rebecca) Clostio, and Korie McGuire (Brayden Hackler); grandchildren: Jade, Alexis, Preston, Isabelle, Aubrie, Cayden, Lexi, Elliot, Maci, Barrett, Brexleigh, and Owen; his mother, Nola Ferreira, as well as his siblings, multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Nolan Clostio and his loving stepfather, James Ferreira.
