James William Cloe of Bartlesville, OK, passed away April 6, 2017, at the age of 82.

He was the son of Bernard and Jessie (Miner) Cloe of Atwood, KS. Jim grew up on the family farm and attended Blakeman country school. Besides helping on the farm, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He then attended the Atwood Community High School graduating with the class of 1953. While in high school, Jim enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and track, but his favorite sport was football. Jim decided to join the Air Force and served as a radar operator during the Korean War. Jim met and married Linda Kaylor Chapman on May 26, 1990, in Bartlesville. Jim started his career with TECO Home Appliance where he worked for 40 years before retiring in 2009. From the age of 21 Jim was a member of the Masonic Lodge and attained the 33d degree.

Jim is survived by: Linda of the home; daughter Ginger Marie McKinney (Lewis) of Warrensville, SC; children William Chapman, Lisa Chapman, Steven Chapman and Jason Hadley, all of Bartlesville; grandchildren Micah Hadley and Victoria McGraw; and five great grandchildren; his sisters Rosemary (Bill) Gordon of Scottsdale, AZ, and Demis (Dwayne) Johnson of Atwood, KS; and many relatives and friends.

Cremation was chosen to honor Jim's wishes. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared with Jim's family at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart and Lung Associations.
