Elma Lee (Bartz) Clift
March 21, 1936 ~ July 08, 2018

Elma Lee Clift was born March 21, 1936 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Vern and Mamie Jewel (McDerman) Bartz. She passed away July 8, 2018 at her home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 17 days.

Elma grew up in Reydon where she graduated from high school. She was married to Billy Clift on October 28, 1952 in Pampa, Texas. They made their home in Reydon before moving to Perryton, Texas and then back to Reydon. In 1989 they moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma to make their home. Elma worked at the Cheyenne Convalescent Home as a cook before going to work at the Hitching Post in Durham, Oklahoma. She retired as the cook for the Cheyenne Senior Citizens Center in 2015.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 sister.

She is survived by her husband, Billy, 3 daughters, Sherry Boyett and husband, Billy, Shawnee, OK, Penny Clift, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Cindy Clift, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Chris Clift, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, 3 sisters, Billie Gelhar, Beaverton, OR, Jewel Mitchell, Kansas City, KS, Barbara McCoy, Reydon, OK, 1 brother, Tom Bartz, Yukon, OK, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

Private Family Services are being held under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne.
