ENID, OK - Eddie A. Clickner, 94, Chief Warrant Officer, USN Retired, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015.
Mr. Clickner was born in Fairmont, Okla.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduating from Pioneer High School in Waukomis, Okla., in 1938. He was a veteran of WWII and Korean war.
After retiring from the Navy with 20 years of service, he was employed by General Motors Corp. He worked for GM in the area of military contracts, retiring in 1980.
Eddie and wife Dorothy, settled in the Florida Keys and spent their retirement years pursuing the things they loved � boating, diving, fishing and golf.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, brother and by his beloved wife, Dorothy.
Survivors include four children: Victor Clickner, Beverly Haynes and Susan Benko, all of Ohio, and David Clickner of Florida. He also is survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He will be interred with his beloved wife, Dorothy, in Arlington National Cemetery.
