Gary Lynn Clem
November 23, 1953 ~ April 27, 2020

Gary Lynn Clem, son of Glen Henry and Flora Mae Dixon Clem was born at Elk City, OK. November 23, 1953 and passed from this life at his home on April 27, 2020 at the age of 66. He grew up on the family farm in the Shirley community and attended school at Leedey Public School graduating with the class of 1972. He furthered his education by attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford, OK. and Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, OK. He was united in marriage to Vickie Harrel at the Leedey Baptist Church on January 14, 1973 and they were blessed with a son, Travis Lynn and a daughter, Teela Jalee.

Gary made his home on the family farm where he was raised. He enjoyed ranching, the country life and was proud of his cattle dogs, especially his long time hand, Rio. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. He greatly enjoyed and appreciated the folks he served on his route.

In 1990 Gary was baptized and became a member of the Leedey First Baptist Church. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and always looked for opportunities to witness to people during his everyday activities. He was a devoted Dad and Grandpa and will be greatly missed.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Flora Mae and a sister, Wynonna Faye. His memory will be cherished by his children, Travis Clem and wife Marie of Shady Point, OK. and Teela Cole and husband, Justin of Vici, OK. His grandchildren, Haylie Clem, Tori Morgan, Cord Clem, Maelee Cole and Izaak Cole. His brother, David Clem and Carmelita Hildebrand of Vici, OK. A nephew, James Clem of Weatherford, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the John Hagee Ministry, Box 1400, San Antonio, TX 78295-1400US.
