Eva Elizabeth Clayback, 72, of Crowder, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her residence. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at Bishop Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Richard Crook officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
Eva was born on February 21, 1942 in Roswell, New Mexico to Orville & Maudie Turner Mounce. She attended schools in Roswell, in Idaho, and then in Los Angeles, California. She worked at the Meeting Place in McAlester and attended the Crowder Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her dogs and taking care of them. Eva had lived in Crowder, Oklahoma for about 25 years.
Survivors include her son: Michael Justus of Alba, Texas; brothers & spouses: Marshall & Brenda Mounce of Crowder, Troy Mounce of Altus, Wayne & Sue Prater of Canadian, Lionel & JoAnn Mounce of Altus.
Also, sisters & spouse: Isabell Atchley of Westville, Arkansas, Vera & Leland Havens of Golden, Colorado; grandsons: Justin Justus of Dallas, Texas, Brandon Willis of Garland, Texas; great-grandchildren: Alex Willis, Jaya Willis, Seth Willis; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Orville “Jr.” Mounce and Bill Mounce; and sisters: Peggy Maxey, Arlene Belding, Loretta Broach, and Jewell Oguinn.
