August 17, 1967 ~ March 8, 2024

Jon Gregory Clavin, age 56, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away March 8, 2024 at OU Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jon's life will be celebrated at a "Celebration of Life" visitation to be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N. 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.

Jon was born on August 17, 1967 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Zane and Sharron (Jackson) Clavin. He grew up in Billings, playing basketball, football, and was involved in FFA showing pigs. After high school, he worked at Ecowater in Enid. He met his wife, Nicole, on a blind date set up by a mutual friend. They married on December 18, 1999. In 2001, he worked as a machinist at Ditch Witch for over 20 years. After his retirement, he worked part time at the Perry Daily Journal stuffing newspapers.

In his free time, he loved gaming on his Xbox, practice shooting, and gun shopping. He also had a great sense of humor that everyone loved. Most of all, Jon loved spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter, Tenley.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Nicole Clavin; daughter, Ashley Heath and husband, Terence Vester; son, Oren Clavin; granddaughter, Tenley Vester; mother, Sharron Clavin; brother, James Clavin; sister, Joy Toburen and her husband, Jeff; brother Jeff Clavin; and numerous friends and family.

Jon is reunited in heaven with his son, Austin Jon Clavin and his father, Zane Clavin.

Honorary casketbearers are Ray Wells, James Clavin, Jeff Toburen, Oren Clavin, Jeff Clavin, Phil Duroy, and Eric Scrivner.
