Steven Clarken passed away at the age of 69. He left this earth on February 23, 2021. Born to Melvin and Ruth (Macklanburg) Clarken on August 2, 1951, in Lamberton, MN.
Steven proudly served our Country in the United States Army from 1971-1977. He married the love of his life Darlene Kay Vinar on May 22, 1971 and went to Vietnam shortly after. After his time in the Army, he became a financial accountant for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and attended Live Oak United Pentecostal Church in Durant. One of his favorite past times was watching his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Clarken, brother Tom Clarken and his daughter Melanie Clarken.
He is survived by his mother Ruth Clarken, wife Darlene Clarken of Mankato MN, daughter Tracy Farrell and her spouse Billy of Durant, OK, granddaughter Melaney Farrell and grandson Mitch Farrell of Durant OK, sisters Linda Arndtson of Tracy MN, Diane Georges and spouse Ron of LeSueur MN, Barb Clarken of Stewartville MN, Ann Groedner and spouse Larry of Springfield MN, brothers Bill Clarken and spouse Jane of Brainerd MN, Jim Clarken of Redwood Falls, MN and Paul Clarken of Lamberton MN.
