Carl Edward Clark

March 2, 1935 ~ June 29, 2003

Services for Carl Edward Clark, 68, of Gainesville, Texas, were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, in the Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, with the Rev. Johnny Sconce officiating.

Mr. Clark was born March 2, 1935, at Bowles, the son of John Walter and Beular Mae Gilbert Clark. He died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Carl Clark of Thackerville and Kerry and Madelon Clark of Denton, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dan Eck of Atlanta; a twin brother, Charles Clark of Thackerville; two other brothers and sisters-in-law, Rusty and Leota Clark of Whitesboro, Texas, and Wayne and Terry Clark of Thackerville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth Calvert and Viola Sconce of Thackerville, Mina Mae and Pete Adams of Lebanon, and Judy and Bill Shell of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Lee Clark; his parents; three brothers, Melvin Clark, Jack Clark and Raymond Clark; and four sisters, Pearl Burchfield, Lola Harp, Ivarine Walker and Betty Swann.

Pallbearers were his grandsons.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home, Gainesville.
