Alta Phern Clark, 93 year old Woodward resident passed away, Thursday December 25, 2025 surrounded by family. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Alta Phern (Williams) Clark was born April 14, 1932 in Dover, Oklahoma to Aubry and Melissa J. (Overton) Williams. Alta grew up in Crescent, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Crescent High School. She was united into marriage to Harold Dean Clark in Oklahoma City. The couple made their first home in Oklahoma City before moving to McGiliad, Ohio, East Texas Rodgers Harbor, Woodward, Oklahoma and Mutual, Oklahoma.

Alta enjoyed being a housewife and being a foster care mother. Taking care of all of the children brought her so much joy. She enjoyed baking, sewing and coloring. Alta was a member of the Home Extension Club. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubry and Melissa Williams, her husband Harold Clark, other family members Juantia Hill, Cecil Ray Williams, Vergil Williams, Jacob Drake, Blake Kiser and Jena Horseman.

Alta is survived by her daughters, Jennie Kiser, Pat Paad, Debi Daniel, Traci Drake and husband Ricky; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
