Amanda L. Clark went to be with her Lord Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Norman, OK. She was born July 6, 1981 to Michael Harned and Sharon Christian Harned in Oklahoma City, OK. Amanda was united in marriage on May 13, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Gerald Clark. She and her husband were members of Faith Point Baptist Church.
Amanda enjoyed riding on the back of motorcycles starting with her dad and seven years ago she began riding her own motorcycle. She also enjoyed spending time with Gerald while traveling on their motorcycles. Amanda was an avid baker, her apple pies and lasagna were some of the best. She had a creative mind and loved to do arts and crafts. and scrapbooks. Amanda dreamed of visiting Florida to see and enjoy the ocean.
Amanda is survived by her husband Gerald Clark of the home; his daughter Ashley Stewart and husband Matt of Norman and their son Langston; one son, Jeremy Clark of Norman; father, Mike Harned and wife Amy of Atlanta, Georgia; mother, Sharon Harned of Midwest City; one grandmother Juanita Christian of Bethany; two brothers; Phillip Shantz and wife Jennifer of Moore, OK, and Tim Shantz and Becky of Midwest City, OK; two aunts, Penny Smith of Indiana and Sue Ivers of Tennessee; one uncle, David Harned of Arkansas; many nieces whom she adored; many friends; and first husband James Shivley. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Jerry Christian.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 pm, and Thursday September 1, 2011 from 9:00 am-8:00 pm, with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St., Norman, OK.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 2, 2011 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home.
