Jaroslav “Jerry” Cizek a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, left this life in Plano, Texas, and joined his beloved Irena on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at the age of 90 years 3 months and 2 days. He was born in Chudenice, Czech Republic on October 1, 1927 to Joseph and Marie (Fialova) Cizek. Jerry married his beautiful Irena “Irene” (who preceded him in death on September 14, 2015) on July 16, 1955.
Jerry was an incredible talented architect who build and designed his family home, he considered it his pride and joy. He had a strong work ethic and worked for JC Potters for 20 years.
Mr. Cizek is survived by his daughter, Vlasta “Patty” Bivins and husband Jim of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Chad Bivins of Missoula, Montana and Todd Bivins and wife Sara of Prosper, Texas; he is also survived by his great grandchildren, Aidan and Nora Bivins of Prosper, Texas;
Mr. Cizek was preceded in death by his wife; parents, Joseph and Marie Cizek; and brothers, Pepik, Lojza and Emil.
