Randy Joseph Ciskowski

Randy Joseph Ciskowski
March 06, 1953 ~ February 02, 2018

God gave us strong faith not to be doubtful. Enough courage not to be fearful. Great strength not to be defeated.

Randy Joseph Ciskowski, 64, of Rogers, Arkansas, the loving and cherished husband of Connie, passed away peacefully February 2, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice.

He was born March 6, 1953, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Herman and Nadola Ciskowski. He and Connie were married on February 26, 1983.

Randy loved others unconditionally. He never judged; he valued love and acceptance above all else. Not known to meet a stranger, Randy could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He was humble and compassionate, and widely known for these qualities, unbeknownst to him.

He enjoyed the simple things - Monday and Thursday Night Football; a glass of Crown on the rocks; floating down rivers with his signature fishing cap on; making others laugh or crack a smile. He was adored and loved by his family and many lifelong friends.

A devout Catholic, and member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Randy's faith was always paramount. He lived his faith humbly, offering praise to God through his quiet service to others.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Connie Ciskowski of Rogers, Arkansas; one son, Brandon Ciskowski of The Colony, Texas; one daughter, Lea Ciskowski of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; three sisters, Linda Brandt (Larry), Cleta Privett (Frank) both of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and Sheila O'Pry of Lewisville, Texas; three brothers, Charles Ciskowski (Marlene) of Oklahoma City, Tom Ciskowski (Jan) of Coppell, Texas, and Mike Ciskowski of San Antonio, Texas; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Joseph Ciskowski; his mother, Nadola June Ciskowski; his brother, Garry; his father-in-law, Ralph Howard Murphy, and his mother-in-law, Mildred Louise Murphy.

The Celebration of his Life is at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Medford, Oklahoma with a Wake Service 7 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, and Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Memorials may be made in memory of Randy Ciskowski to the American Lung Cancer Association, www.Lung.org; Highlands Oncology Group Healing Gardens, www.HealingGardensofNWA.org; or to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 133 N. 3rd, Medford, OK 73759.
