Patti Jo Chivers was born June 23, 1957 in Centerville, Pennsylvania, and departed this life Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in Oklahoma City at the age of 53.
Patti, the daughter of Homer Lawrence and Betty Marie Flynn Chivers, was a resident of Prague.
She graduated with honors from Johannesburg Lewiston High School with the class of 1975.
Patti worked for Wrangler for 31 years, most recently as an office manager.
She loved sewing, crocheting, swimming and most of all her family. Patti's nieces and nephews were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include mother, Betty Chivers, of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Marsha Chivers, of Brighton, Colorado; Ted and Christy Chivers, of Paola, Kansas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Al Dandy, of Newalla; Susie and Steve Mosley, of Silver City, New Mexico; Betty and Brad Walker, of Lewiston, Michigan; Anna and Bob Bennett of Spokane, Washington; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Chivers family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Lonnie Hutton officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
